The employee of the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» was awarded with an award in the field of tourism

On November 30, the winners and prize-winners of the regional competition of leaders of the tourism industry «Resort Olympus-2018» were awarded in Kabardinka village of Krasnodar Krai. The second place in the nomination «The best employee of the reception and accommodation service of the hotel» was taken by Alyona Kazantseva, manager of the reception and accommodation department of the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony».

Alena Kazantseva received a higher education in a specialized university: graduated from Sochi State University. I came to the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» in 2015. «Since childhood, I have chosen working in a hotel as the direction of my life. While vacationing on a cruise with my parents, I fell in love with the service and hospitality system and decided that this would be my way of life,» Alyona said in an interview.

The prestige of the «Resort Olympus» competition, which is organized by the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory, is growing every year. Organized for the first time in 2005, by 2016 the competition was officially recognized as the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills of tourism workers «The best by profession in the tourism industry». In 2018, twice as many applications were submitted for participation in the «Resort Olympus» as in the previous year.
