On May 31, the Sochi Half Marathon will take place in the Olympic Park, the races of which will be held on the Sochi Autodrom track – the venue of the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX of RUSSIA. One of the main accommodation facilities for the participants and organizers of the half marathon was the apartment complex «Barkhatnye sezony».

The Sochi Half Marathon program includes 5.55 km and 21 km races. The organizers of the amateur competitions were the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education of the Krasnodar Territory and the network of sports stores «Higher League». The winners of the Half Marathon, who took 1st to 3rd place, will receive cash certificates in the amount of 10,000 to 50,000 rubles for the purchase of sporting goods, from 4th to 6th place – certificates for the purchase of sneakers. All participants of the race will be awarded commemorative medals. It is unique that each participant of the race after the competition will be able to view their photos against the background of Olympic facilities and videos from the finish. To do this, you need to go to the website https://russiarunning.com russiarunning.com and enter your starting number.

More than 1,500 runners have already applied to participate in the Half Marathon, with a maximum number of 3,000 participants. These are residents of more than 40 cities in Russia, most of which are from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don. The choice of the «Barkhatnye sezony» apartment complex as a hotel for participants and organizers is due not only to its close proximity to the Half Marathon running track (a 15-minute walk from the Olympic Park), but also to a special offer for accommodation in cozy apartments - only 1300 rubles per day for accommodation in a comfortable double room. Also important factors were the extraordinary panoramic views from the windows of the rooms to the mountains, as well as walking distance to the southernmost embankment of the Black Sea.
