The promoter of the 2014 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX announces the start date of ticket sales for one of the most exciting and anticipated sporting events of the year - the first FORMULA 1 Grand Prix in the history of Russia. Ticket sales will begin on the official website of the promoter May 30, 2014.

After many years of waiting, Russians will be able to fulfill their long-held dream by visiting the home stage of the «royal races» The 2014 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX will exceed expectations by combining the exceptional atmosphere of FORMULA 1 with the beauty and hospitality of Sochi. Buyers will have a choice of more than 45,000 tickets.Of these, more than 8000 tickets are for the main grandstand, 7000 tickets to the general access area at the Bolshoy Ice Palace, more than 3000 tickets to VIP boxes, 5000 tickets to the paddock club, as well as tickets to temporary stands around the circuit, accommodating 23,000 spectators.

Tickets to the public access area will cost from 5000 rubles; their buyers will be able to attend all three days of the competition and enjoy the races, choosing a place on the site at their own will. On October 12, 2014, at 15:00 Moscow time, Sochi Autodrom will host the first stage of FORMULA 1 racing in the history of Russia. Sochi Autodrom includes two laps – a large one used for FORMULA 1 races and passing throughout the Olympic Park around all Olympic stadiums, and a small circle, used year-round for track days and other events.

Sochi Autodrom is the only circuit in Russia hosting FORMULA 1, and the only circuit in the world located in the Olympic Park.
