On December 30, 2014, a new personnel composition of the management of Omega Center OJSC was approved, according to which Valery Danchenko, who previously held the position of Deputy General Director for Operations, was appointed General Director of the company. These changes have consolidated the new challenges facing the company, which is changing its profile from construction to commercial, aimed at development in the fields of sports, hospitality, culture and entertainment industry.

Alexander Anatolyevich Saurin, Deputy head of the Krasnodar Territory Administration, commented on this appointment: «The Omega Center is entering a new phase of its development. The company, under the leadership of Viktor Shevketovich Abulgafarov, has successfully implemented projects of national importance – building the infrastructure of the Olympic Park and holding the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix at Sochi Autodrom. Now a new stage begins - the commercial operation of the constructed facilities. The new challenges currently facing the company have led to a change in its organizational structure. The new course will be formed and followed by people who have made a significant contribution to the organization of the Olympic Games, and directly organized the Grand Prix of the Royal Races. I am sure that the new leadership, headed by an experienced manager Valery Danchenko, will cope with the tasks set and will work fruitfully for the benefit of the Krasnodar Territory and the whole of Russia.»

Valery Vasilyevich Danchenko, General Director of JSC «Omega Center», noted: «It is a great honor and responsibility for me to lead a company that is one of the leaders in the Krasnodar Territory and has made a significant contribution to such large-scale nationwide projects as the 2014 Olympic Winter Games and the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix. I am convinced that our team will be able to carry out the reorganization that is logically overdue in the company in order to realize maximum efficiency of its activities».

Alexander Vyacheslavovich Nemtsov was appointed First Deputy General Director, the Deputy General Directors became: Sergey Sergeyevich Vorobyov, Vitaly Vladimirovich Ushnov and Olga Vladimirovna Dorofeeva.
