Lewis Hamilton won the 2015 Russian Grand Prix, Daniil Kvyat - sixth
British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Russia for the second time at Sochi Autodrom.
In the 2015 season, the Mercedes team failed to win a winning double, but the first place, as a year ago in the debut Grand Prix, was taken by British racer Lewis Hamilton, the current two-time Formula 1 champion. The award was presented to the pilot and representative of the winning team by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The second at the Sochi Autodrom was the German Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, who received the cup from the hands of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak, and the third place was taken by the Mexican racer Force India Sergio Perez - he was awarded by the President of the RAF Viktor Kiryanov.
Russian pilot Daniil Kvyat had a busy race and after starting from the eleventh place finished sixth, breaking into the top six for the fifth time in the last seven races.
