On May 21, 162 young athletes swore allegiance to the Motherland in the Sochi Olympic Park. All of them are members of the Russian national team who will undergo military service in the sports companies of CSKA. Among the recruits there is one Honored Master of Sports of Russia and 13 masters of sports of international class. Among them are world and European champion, Olympic license holder trampolinist Andrey Yudin, world and European cycling champion, junior world record holder Matvey Zubov, winner of the junior World Championship, Russian champion weightlifter Rodion Bochkov.

162 athletes representing 30 Olympic sports were called up to four sports companies, which are stationed in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg and Samara.

Many of those who have sworn allegiance to the Fatherland today represent summer sports and are candidates for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Elena Aleksandrovna Zaritskaya, the head of the Omega Center, congratulated the future Olympic champions: «I am sure that taking the Military oath in the Sochi Olympic Park will remain in your memory for the rest of your life.»

The first deputy head of CSKA, Lieutenant Colonel Svetlana Khorkina welcomed every recruit of the army club and wished to break out of the ranks into the generals of world sports.

Sports companies were revived three years ago. During this time, the military personnel of the CSKA Sports center have become prize-winners of international competitions more than 500 times, and five have won medals at the Olympic Games in Sochi. During this time, as military personnel of the CSKA sports center, the world champion titles were won by speed skater Pavel Kulizhnikov and snowboarder Andrey Sobolev.
