In honor of the Children's Day, a wonderful holiday was arranged for the guests of the hotel in all quarters of the hotel.

June 1 in the quarter of the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» began with a fun morning exercise. There were animated «Fun starts in Sportlandia», as well as a dance battle. The winners of the contests were awarded prizes and gifts.

After a fun morning exercise, fun animation programs began in the Alexander Garden quarter. At the same time, workshops on life painting, making talismans and clay modeling were held in the Chistye Prudy quarter, and a musical program with the pirate Jack Sparrow unfolded on the beach of the hotel.

In the «Catherine Quarter», in the restaurant «Aquatoria», a master class «Cook» was arranged for young guests. The hotel's chefs taught the children how to cook pizza, hamburgers, cheese balls and shortbread cookies. The cooks were dressed in cute hats, disposable aprons and gloves, and the young cooks created their first dishes, cooked them in stoves and then ate them with appetite on both cheeks.

The foam party became a break from reality, a sea of joy, fun and pleasure. It can be called the culmination of the holiday. Cubic meters of foam suddenly fell on the merry guests of the hotel and became for hundreds of kids and parents an instant illusion of changing the space in the familiar territory.

International Children's Day is one of the oldest international holidays. The decision to hold it was made in 1925 at the World Conference on the Welfare of Children in Geneva. History is silent about why it was decided to celebrate this children's holiday on June 1. According to one version, in 1925, the Consul General of China in San Francisco gathered a group of Chinese orphans and arranged for them to celebrate Duan-wu tse (Dragon Boat Festival), the date of which just fell on June 1. By a happy coincidence, the day coincided with the time of the «children's» conference in Geneva.
