From October 15 to 17 as part of the Road Show «Sochi 2014-2015. New City – new opportunities» presentations of the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» were held. The event was organized by the tourist association «Planet Sochi».

The project «Sochi 2014-2015. New City – new opportunities» was supported by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Krasnodar Territory. The main task set by representatives of Sochi, Imereti Bay and Krasnaya Polyana hotels is to inform participants of the tourist market of Krasnodar, Rostov–on-Don and Volgograd about the new opportunities of the resort city in the following areas: recreation and SPA, spa treatment, mountain recreation, business tourism and attractions.

The city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» presented its main unique advantages:

· the largest number of rooms in Russia (8,953 rooms), which allows one-time placement of groups whose number exceeds 1,000 people;

· equipped beaches on the southernmost Black Sea embankment;

· duration of the summer holiday season – up to 7 months;

· location in close proximity to the Main Media Center (the largest convention and exhibition venue in the south of Russia, where major business events take place) and the Olympic Park of the coastal cluster (it is here that the World Air Racing Championship and the 2015 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX will be held in 2015);

· transport accessibility to Krasnaya Polyana. In winter, snow-capped mountain peaks open from the windows of the rooms of the hotel city: ski resorts are just an hour away; special offers of the hotel city allow tourists to appreciate the new format of winter holidays in Sochi «sea + mountains».

Presentations within the framework of the Road Show gathered in each city more than fifty representatives of travel companies, as well as potential partners from among large industrial enterprises. Taking into account the trends of the tourist market emerging in 2014, there has been a redirection of tourist flows from the external market to the internal one in the tourism industry, which has made changes in the customer orientation of travel agencies. In this situation, the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» was able to position itself as a unique diverse accommodation facility that allows you to receive both individual tourists and various groups.

The result of participation in the project «Sochi 2014-2015. The new city – new opportunities» for the city-hotel «Barkhatnye sezony» has become an active preparation of contractual relations with more than twenty companies ready in the near future to position a vacation in Imereti Bay as one of the main directions of their activities in 2015, not only during the traditional summer season, but also year-round, starting with the New Year holidays, involving its clients in the event events of the Sochi tourism cluster.
